Wicked Weekend Review

Wow. What a great, fulfilling weekend. Sucks to be back at work today, but that weekend frickin' rocked.

Started things out on Friday with a Gullwings ultimate game. We kicked the other teams ass 15 to 8. That now puts our team at an unbelievable 10 and 0, with 150 points for and 58 points against. That's a +/- of 92!!! I can't wait for the day when we break 100 on the +/-. Can't really remember what we did afterwards, I remember calling HandJ to see if they wanted to get together, but they were busy with their respective knitting and dragon slaying. Go figure.

Saturday morning we went for a bike ride up to Walmart and Sobey's. The main purpose of the trip was to buy tennis balls - also picked up some other stuff. Once we got back home, we packed up our tennis stuff and headed to Mooney's Bay for a little one on one, tennis style. In the beginning I really sucked and Ferda got most of the points. But near the end, my game started to turn for the better and I beat her three games to one. After a shower and a rest, we packed up and headed over to the Brookstreet Hotel in Kanata for our romantic getaway. Very cool hotel, very great food. We had a great time. Thanks Ferda!

Sunday morning, we left the hotel and met up with Alex and Holly out at Constance Bay for some boating. Did some wake-boarding, tubing, and rowing. That's right, rowing. We were in some shallow water near the Quebec side of the Ottawa river when the prop hit a rock and took a lot of damage. Not only that, but the engine died at the same time. Good times.
