No Bunnies Were Harmed in the Making of this Post

So the bunnie was still there when I got home from work. I decided I had had enough of this free-loader; stealing my heat by sitting right next to the window! Here's some more pics Ferda took before I gave him the boot!

For the curious types out there, my bunnie-handling techniques included the following steps:

1) Open door slightly
2) Scoop away excess snow
3) Grab bunnie from mid-section to avoid bunnie-kicks!
4) Toss him in the snow!

He ran away towards our neighbour's yard, very mad at me. I bet we won't be seeing him again.

New Pet

This little bunny wedged himself between our sliding glass door and screen door in the middle of the night to take shelter from the wind and snow.

Yes I said snow! About 5 inches!

Don't worry: if he's still there when I get home from work tonight, I'll start charging rent.

Tuesday Time Waster

Here's a cute little Halloween themed puzzler: Numbskull. The objective here is to maneuver the blocks so that the skeleton's head connects to his body. The first few levels are pretty easy, but it gets harder as you go along.

Guitar Hero:World Tour

Sunday morning: Got up at 6:15, quickly dressed and got in the car. Drove over to our local Wal-Mart to get in line for their 7am opening.

The reason: Sunday, Oct. 26th was the release day for the new installment of GuitarHero: GH:WT.

I was second in line overall, and first to get it for the Nintendo Wii. Got home about 7:30 and took it all outta the box. Played for a couple hours, trying to remain as quiet as possible since Ferda was still in bed.

Really like the look and feel of the new guitar - the strum bar is very tight and responsive. The touchpad slider is super fun to play with as well. The drums are real fun to play - seems to be Ferda's favourite so far. Didn't try out the singing just yet, perhaps will have to add some liquid courage first (ie: beer). Can't wait to get home from work to play some more. Plently of songs we didn't even try yet!

Excerpts from a Cat's Diary...

Day 983 of my captivity. My captors continue to taunt me with bizarre little dangling objects. They dine lavishly on fresh meat, while the other inmates and I are fed hash or some sort of dry nuggets. Although I make my contempt for the rations perfectly clear, I nevertheless must eat something in order to keep up my strength. The only thing that keeps me going is my dream of escape. In an attempt to disgust them, I once again vomit on the carpet.

Today I decapitated a mouse and dropped its headless body at their feet. I had hoped this would strike fear into their hearts, since it clearly demonstrates what I am capable of. However, they merely made condescending comments about what a 'good little hunter' I am.

There was some sort of assembly of their accomplices tonight. I was placed in solitary confinement for the duration of the event. However, I could hear the noises and smell the food. I overheard that my confinement was due to the power of 'allergies.' I must learn what this means and how to use it to my advantage...

Today I was almost successful in an attempt to assassinate one of my tormentors by weaving around his feet as he was walking. I must try this again tomorrow -- but at the top of the stairs. I am convinced that the other prisoners here are flunkies and snitches. The dog receives special privileges. He is regularly released - and seems to be more than willing to return. He is obviously retarded. The bird has got to be an informant. I observe him communicating with the guards regularly. I am certain that he reports my every move. My captors have arranged protective custody for him in an elevated cell, so he is safe. For now...

Woo hoo, it's Friday. And it's the Thanksgiving long weekend! Sweet!

Of course it's shank or be shanked

Over that past week we've been watching Prison Break s01. We have really enjoyed it so far. I think we have about 2-3 eps left. Really looking forward to finishing it. I've also made preparations to get s02 - even though we've heard it's not as good.

Other than that, enojying regular fall tv programs like Heroes, Hills, Office, etc.

Friday Time Waster

Here's a simple, cute flash game. Funky Ball. Objective is to steer the pink ball on to the pink block.
